Enterprise product design leader with 24 years in design, including 19 years leading complex B2C, B2B, SaaS, cybersecurity, and data-platform experiences.
At IBM Security, I lead design vision and execution for IBM Guardium experiences, helping teams simplify complex workflows, improve platform usability, and create scalable product experiences for security administrators, engineers, and enterprise decision-makers.
My strength lies in connecting user needs, product strategy, business goals, and technical realities. I work across ambiguity, lead cross-functional conversations, mentor designers, and create design frameworks that help teams move from fragmented features to cohesive product experiences.
I believe great design is not only about how a product looks, but how clearly it helps people understand, decide, and act especially in complex, high-stakes enterprise environments.
Foundation & Learning
I graduated from Rajasthan University, India with a degree in User Experience Design from HFI (Human Factors International) Mumbai, India. I loved the human-centered design methods and processes I learned in school and applied them to my thesis projects.
My education gave me a strong foundation in usability principles, user research methodologies, and interaction design patterns. I've continued to build on this foundation through professional certifications and real-world experience designing enterprise products.

Lessons that Shaped My Design Leadership
Over the years, design has taught me that growth rarely comes from comfort. Every challenge, misstep, and iteration has shaped the way I think, lead, and build.
Over the years, I have learned that users do not only need efficient workflows. They need clarity, confidence, and trust especially when they are working under pressure.
Early in my career, I designed solutions that were logical and well-structured, but I sometimes missed the emotional context behind user behavior.
Later, I also learned that polished screens cannot replace early alignment with stakeholders.
These moments shaped how I lead today.
I now approach design as a balance of empathy, business goals, technical realities, and systems thinking.
Every setback has helped me improve my judgment, ask better questions, and build products with more clarity
Failure no longer feels like a setback. It feels like refinement.

Beyond Design
Family, travel and photography
I'm incredibly inspired by traveling
It helps me recover from when I feel creatively stunted. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, doing workouts, especially running, and fumbling with my phone camera to capture moments that inspire me.
Photography gives me a different lens through which to see the world. It helps me find beauty in unexpected places, much like design.
